The Experienced Automotive Diagnostic Technician serves as the senior technical authority within our service department. You’ll perform advanced diagnostics, A/C service and repairs, electrical troubleshooting, and complete mechanical repairs—including engine and transmission replacements, timing systems, brake systems, suspension, and steering work . This role also involves mentoring less experienced technicians, maintaining high standards of quality and safety, and ensuring every repair meets customer satisfaction and company expectations. Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a professional automotive repair facility
• At least 2 current ASE certifications (preferred)
• EPA Section 609 Certification for automotive HVAC required
• Strong proficiency in advanced automotive diagnostics and electrical systems
• Must supply personal hand tools and specialty tools appropriate for the role
• Valid Florida driver’s license and clean driving record
• Must be 18 years or older
• Team-oriented, dependable, and able to follow established procedures
• Commitment to ongoing professional development, including pursuit of ASE Master Certification

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate diagnostics, maintenance, and repair on a variety of vehicle makes and models
• Conduct A/C system service, electrical troubleshooting, and advanced drivability testing
• Repair and replace engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and steering components
• Complete all customer-requested work with precision and efficiency
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with shop policies
• Collaborate with service advisors and management to ensure timely and complete job execution
• Mentor and support team members to improve skills and performance
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company quality standards
