Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a technician in a dealership setting
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask and communicate effectively
  • Computer proficiency
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Nice To Haves

  • ASE certifications (preferred but not required)

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair vehicle systems efficiently and accurately
  • Provide time and labor estimates for recommended repairs
  • Clearly explain diagnoses and repairs to service advisors and customers in easy-to-understand terms
  • Perform inspections, tests, and document findings
  • Stay up to date with training and rapidly evolving automotive technology
  • Use shop equipment including alignment systems, diagnostic tools, AC service machines, wheel and tire equipment, etc.
  • Promote a professional, customer-first attitude as a goodwill ambassador for Don “K”
  • Follow all company safety guidelines while maintaining a clean, organized work area
