About The Position
Experienced Dental Lab Assistant Overview: Our dental team is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Dental Lab Assistant to support the Lab Manager with daily operations. This position involves assisting with impressions, operating lab equipment, and performing a variety of lab-related tasks to ensure the highest quality of dental appliances and restorations. Key Responsibilities: PT position - starting with hours max of 24 with possibility to become more in the future. Lab experience required, including model pouring, model trimming, wire bending for space maintenance appliances, hawley retainers wires, removable partial wires. Acrylic powder/liquid fabrication knowledge and wire soldering knowledge would also be greatly applicable and useful. Assist the Lab Manager with impressions and model preparation Operate and maintain dental lab equipment and tools Follow proper sterilization and infection control protocols Organize and track lab cases and materials Perform lab maintenance and inventory duties Support other team members as needed to maintain workflow and efficiency Complete other duties as assigned
Requirements
- CPR Certification (required)
- Experience in a dental lab
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Experience working with dental lab equipment and making impressions
- Understanding of health and safety regulations
- Strong computer skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Well-organized, reliable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and fine motor skills
- Lab experience required, including model pouring, model trimming, wire bending for space maintenance appliances, hawley retainers wires, removable partial wires
