About The Position

Elk Grove Ford, now proudly part of Lithia & Driveway, is seeking an experienced Diesel Technician to join our high-performing service team. If you are a skilled professional with a strong background in diesel engines and a commitment to quality workmanship, we want to hear from you.

Requirements

Proven experience as a diesel technician (Ford experience preferred)
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
ASE certifications and/or Ford certifications are a plus
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and related systems
Perform inspections, troubleshooting, and advanced diagnostics
Complete work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
Collaborate with service advisors and team members to ensure excellent customer satisfaction
Stay current with manufacturer training and evolving technologies
Maintain accurate service records and documentation
