About The Position

Experienced Electrical Manufacturing Engineer Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Government Furnished Equipment ( GFE) Production Engineering team is hiring an Experienced Electrical Manufacturing Engineer to support the technical statement of work in San Antonio, TX. Position Responsibilities: Develops and implements production and tooling methodologies. Participates on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines. Develops, identifies and implements conceptual designs and maintains the program architecture for build. 4. Leads and implements manufacturing plans. Conducts producibility and variation analyses to ensure that manufacturing process capability matches requirements. Assists in providing producibility information for inclusion in project plans and helps document producibility best practices. Analyzes design/build concepts to evaluate producible design/build definitions. Resolves technical problems of significant impact to performance, cost or schedule. Coordinates and implements new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and concepts. Validates and ensures production readiness of solutions to complex problems. Implements lean principles and technologies. Reviews electrical design requirements and approves new releases and revisions to existing designs. Reviews and implements non-conformance requirements into shop floor work orders and supplier specifications. Translates design requirements Electronic Bill of Materials (EBOM) into Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM) to create and maintain part demand within the program production system. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in San Antonio, TX. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
  • 5 years related work experience
  • Medium to Advanced knowledge of REDARS, GOLDesp, WIRS, Microsoft Excel (medium to advanced skills), IVT, MESci.
  • This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
