Experienced Water/Fire/Mold Technician

Experienced Water/Fire/Mold Technicians will perform and support remediation and restoration services of fire damage, water damage, mold damage, storm damage, and commercial services. Requirements
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and reliable
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Must be able to work some nights, weekends and participate in a rotating on-call schedule
- Must possess valid IL Driver's License
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, and occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to climb ladders, perform at ceiling heights and work in tight spaces (i.e. crawl spaces and attics).
- Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time and repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
- Willingness to work with cleaning products and chemicals.
Nice To Haves
- Preferred - Prior experience in fire and water restoration, mold remediation, or related
- Estimating experience or knowledge of Xactimate software a plus
- Experience with drywall or other construction trades a plus
Responsibilities
- Respond to service calls as needed
- Inventory and loading of equipment and supplies into vehicles
- Maintain clean work vehicles, warehouse, equipment, and related
- Prepare sites for work activities
- Set up staging area and equipment for projects
- Perform remediation/restoration process including cleanups and equipment breakdowns
- Perform demolition and cleaning tasks
- Understand and follow safety and risk management guidelines
- Support other personnel and perform ad-hoc tasks as needed
