Express (Lube) Technician

The Express (Lube) Technician is responsible for performing routine vehicle maintenance and lubrication services efficiently and accurately, in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards. This role plays a key part in ensuring vehicle safety, performance, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions and repair orders
Basic computer proficiency and strong attention to detail.
Ability to write routine reports and documentation.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Perform oil changes, lubrication services, and basic vehicle inspections.
Drain and refill engine oil; replace oil and air filters.
Inspect and replenish vehicle fluid levels as needed.
Check and adjust tire pressure.
Lubricate vehicle components using specified materials.
Document all work performed on repair orders.
Communicate with the Parts Department to obtain required parts.
Identify and report equipment defects or vehicle concerns to supervisors.
Maintain cleanliness of customer vehicles and shop work areas.
Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs.
Follow all safety procedures and report hazards immediately.
Maintain and properly store dealership-owned tools and manuals.
Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA and hazardous waste standards.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
