About The Position
Extended Day Staff (Part-Time) Saint Leo the Great Catholic School | Fairfax, VA Monday–Friday | 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM Position Overview Saint Leo the Great Catholic School is seeking enthusiastic, faith-filled individuals to join our Extended Day Team for the 2026–2027 school year. Requirements
- Alignment with the mission of Catholic education
- Experience working with children (preferred but not required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Dependable, responsible, and team-oriented

- Experience in childcare, education, or youth programs
- Practicing Catholic (or strong support of Catholic mission)

Responsibilities
- Provide attentive supervision and ensure the safety and well-being of all students
- Foster a positive, respectful, and caring environment rooted in Christian values
- Engage students in a balanced schedule of active play, quiet time, and structured activities
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment
- Build positive relationships with students, families, and staff
- Follow diocesan policies and all health, safety, and emergency procedures
- Support program structure, routines, and expectations
- Model respect, kindness, and responsibility in all interactions
