About The Position

REQUIREMENTS Must meet the requirements of two years post high school education or higher, 48 credits, CDA, or be able to pass a standardized test approved by the state of South Dakota. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & DUTIES Education Support Professionals will provide support for students with special needs under the direction of special education case managers in order for students to achieve their goals established for Extended School Year (ESY) services. Education Support Professionals will also support students with activities of daily living (e.g., bathroom, accessing the playground, moving around the building) as needed. ESY services may look different for every child. ESY services are designed to maintain skills already acquired, not to learn new skills, and all specialized instruction and related services will reflect the unique instructional needs of each child. PAY INFORMATION Pay Day: Last working day of each month. HOURS & FTE Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday - 8:00 am to 11:30 am June 9th-11th June 16th-18th June 23rd-25th Off the week of July 4th July 7th-9th July 14th-16th CURRENT DISTRICT EMPLOYEES All current District employees interested in applying must complete an application.
