About The Position

The Extern will be a part of an approved internship program where they will have the opportunity to build knowledge and skills in a health care setting. The extern will be provided with exposure to project experience in a formalized program in preparation for careers in healthcare administration.

Requirements

• High School graduation and completion of one year of applicable degree program in related field of study.
• Ability to interact positively with people of all ages and backgrounds.
• An ability to communicate effectively.
• A knowledge of the skills important to customer service, researching and delivering a creative project, and the willingness to learn and develop further knowledge and skills in these areas.
• Operation of Microsoft Office Products including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher and Excel.
• Good organizational abilities with a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Works cooperatively and proactively with other team members.
• Completes assigned projects and tasks in a timely, accurate, high quality manner.
• Tracks progress, deadlines, and priorities of all assigned projects.
