The Extra Help Assistant is responsible for providing semi-skilled labor tasks in a state agency or institution. Assisting Professor with research in the synthesis of unnatural prodigious compounds for anti-cancer drugs. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency policy.
Requirements
- Must have completed college level Chemistry coursework
- Experience in a research lab and knowledge of basic chemicals and safety procedures
- Knowledge of basic Chemistry
- Experience working in a Research Lab
- Knowledge of most common chemicals
- Ability to follow directions
- Ability to research, analyze, and record date
Nice To Haves
- Experience with chemical synthesis of anti-cancer compounds
Responsibilities
- Assisting Professor with research in the synthesis of unnatural prodigious compounds for anti-cancer drugs.
- A student will be working under the direction of the Professor
- It will require some literature studies
- The student will work with undergraduate and graduate students
- The student will be required to present data related to the research
