About The Position

Under the direction of the Supervisor, the Extruder Operator is responsible for supporting production within our manufacturing operations. This role requires strong attention to safety, quality, productivity, and adherence to TOPPAN’s core values and work ethic.

Requirements

• Previous manufacturing experience and/or related training
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to follow directions and troubleshoot equipment
• Ability to repair and maintain extruder line equipment
• Forklift and clamp truck experience
• High school diploma or GED
• Basic computer skills

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the extruder line at a mid‑level skill capacity.
• Perform light and preventive maintenance activities, including daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks.
• Ensure the extrusion process meets production and quality standards.
• Safely operate a forklift and clamp truck.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and make appropriate adjustments as needed.
