About The Position

We are seeking dependable candidates for an Extruder Operator position supporting the manufacturing of polyethylene (PE) pipe in Pryor. The Extruder Operator will assist with production tasks including coiling, taping, stacking, packaging, and performing basic quality inspections. This Extruder Operator role is an entry-level manufacturing opportunity with training provided. The position also requires maintaining a safe, clean work environment while supporting production teams and shift operations.

Ability to follow instructions and work safely within production processes
Steel or composite-toe safety footwear required in production and warehouse areas
Safety glasses required and provided
Additional PPE may be required depending on job tasks

Responsibilities

Install pre-cut gaskets on vacuum and spray tanks as instructed
Verify correct coiler arm settings for required inside diameters (28”–60”)
Coil pipe neatly and tightly according to specifications
Tape pipe coils at four points with four wraps
Secure the start and end of each coil with color footage tape
Plug both ends of every completed coil
Inspect pipe for proper labeling, printing, and quality appearance
Identify issues such as splits, scratches, rough ends, striping, or surface defects
Maintain safe and organized pipe stacks
Communicate non-conforming products or operational issues to the Shift Supervisor
Place defective pipe in designated regrind areas
Maintain a clean workspace from extruder to coiler
Participate in shift change communication to ensure smooth production transitions
