Extrusion Coating Operator - 3rd Shift

About The Position

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Perform various production and service tasks on all work centers related to the set-up and operation of the coating line, following written procedures and instructions. Provide leadership and direction for all machine crew members when operating the line through effective communication. Perform and document all the necessary testing of both raw materials and finished products using established company test methods. Make quality-related decisions utilizing product specification testing, including defective material identification and flagging for the next operation. Make time and quantity entries into the computer system. Provide necessary communication at shift change. Perform all necessary preventative maintenance as required. Perform all necessary housekeeping as required. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: The ability to conceptualize and communicate training curriculum to Extrusion Coating Operator, Extrusion Coating Crew Assistant and others as needed. Knowledge of machine operating fundamentals required. Basic math skills required. Basic computer skills required. Effective communication skills required. The ability to read and comprehend Process Drawing Number (PDN). Physical Requirements: Frequent standing, walking, sitting, and use of hands for handling tools and equipment. Ability to lift and move objects over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required, including close vision and ability to adjust focus.
