To lead and support the daily operations of the Extrusion and Twister departments by ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production. This position is responsible for coordinating shift activities, maintaining process standards, supporting changeovers and machine operation, training team members, and promoting clear communication to ensure consistent production flow. Requirements

Experience in extrusion and/or twister manufacturing operations preferred
Prior lead or supervisory experience in a production environment preferred
Strong understanding of machine processes
Capable of maneuvering and lifting up to 50 lbs. frequently
Standing and walking for long periods of time
Ability to often stoop, kneel or crouch.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
Basic problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Responsibilities

Supervise the day-to-day operations of the Extrusion and Twister departments.
Coordinate with the Extrusion Manager on changeovers, process adjustments, safety, and housekeeping requirements.
Communicate with team members and manager to ensure smooth production flow.
Maintain accurate daily production reports and work orders.
Perform machine changeovers, including changing and building dies.
Ensure Extrusion and Twister machines operate according to process standards and produce quality products.
Start up and shut down machines following established procedures.
Blend resin according to documented procedures.
Package finished goods in compliance with required procedures.
Perform quality assurance checks and process verification checks.
Assist with training and onboarding of new operators.
Provide coverage for employees’ meal and breaks.
Assist with sub-assembly operations as needed.
Follow all safety policies and company procedures.
Must be able to work all shifts, including overtime as needed
Ensure the building is secured and alarm systems are properly activated or deactivated at the end of the shift, as required.
