About The Position

Extrusion Machine Operator | HIRING IMMEDIATELY | North Vernon, IN Walk-In Days/Times: Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00am - 2:00pm for on the spot interviews Located: 1001 North Madison Avenue - North Vernon Compensation: Starting rate of $17.75 - $21.00 an hour (Based on experience) plus $1.50 shift premium for the night shift Available Shifts: Day Shift-7:00am-7:00pm Night Shift-7:00pm-7:00am TEXT TO APPLY NUMBER: 928-668-6539 (928-NOVOLEX)

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
Eligible to work in the United States
Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen
Ability to work 12-hour day and/or night shifts
Work overtime as required
Satisfactorily completes training courses as determined by management
Ability perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation

Responsibilities

Understand and follow all JSA’s and safety procedures/policies
Safely and efficiently set-up and operate extrusion lines to produce high quality HDPE film
Operate extrusion lines in accordance with job safety analysis, standard operating procedures, quality procedures, and operator training to meet or exceed productivity requirements and minimize downtime and waste
Ensure that proper materials are being used in accordance with procedures
Monitor roll weights to ensure the correct gauge is maintained throughout the shift
Assure proper packaging and labeling of film
Complete daily production reporting
