About The Position

Boeing’s Government Training Engineering (GTE) team is looking for a Chief Engineer & Senior Manager for our St Louis, MO location to support the F-15 Eagle/Strike Eagle platform for US customers in our Air Dominance portfolio. This role includes oversight of the execution of all efforts in support of Aircrew and Maintenance training for the F-15 platform for the United States Air Force.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited course of study
  • 3+ years of engineering/technical experience on aircraft or training solutions
  • 1+ years of experience with agile, SAFe or other workflow management best practices
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
  • This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
  • This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
  • 1+ years of engineering management experience
  • 1+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams
  • 3+ years of experience working with customers and/or suppliers

Responsibilities

  • Execution Leader for the F-15 platform, including a variety of domestic programs (T2, EX, EMTC)
  • Management of the Principal Engineers & Product Managers assigned to the platforms
  • Responsible for the technical integrity & safety of the training products & services
  • Ensure cross-functional team performance & on-time delivery within allocated budgets
  • Shaping and development of all new proposals for Engineering efforts
  • Primary Customer Liaison for technical performance, design decision, & resolution of technical issues
