About The Position

You will be the 2nd Shift Operations Production Lead, F-16 for the Lockheed Martin Greenville site. This role requires interfacing with multiple functional organizations, area supervisors, and the assembly crew to resolve issues and constraints in the production environment. The F-16 Flight Operations Production Lead is responsible for overseeing and coordinating aircraft assembly and production activities while providing status updates on work documents and tasks completed within their area. The Flight Operations Production Lead will be considered a working lead that will maintain certifications and qualifications to perform production tasks as required to complete tasks on the product, as well as the below listed responsibilities: Communicate and support daily and weekly production goals, assess task complexity and skills, assign work, set clear expectations, provide technical guidance, and monitor and adjust performance to meet aircraft production and assembly objectives. Ensure adherence to production standards of safety, quality, schedule, and cost by enforcing practices such as fall protection, crane operations, hazardous materials handling, personal protective equipment (PPE), use, material handling, chemical control, housekeeping, and tool and FOD controls. Demonstrates strong leadership skills by effectively managing a team, providing guidance, and fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement by maintaining 6S/lean processes. The Flight Operations Production Lead will actively engage as a hands-on leader, maintaining necessary certifications and qualifications to perform production tasks and related responsibilities. Requirements

  • 6 years experience relative to aircraft Manufacturing, Maintenance, Modification, Repair, & Overhaul.
  • 4 years experience performing mechanical or avionics operational checkouts on aircraft.

Nice To Haves

  • Fighter aircraft (F-16, F-35, F-22), APG experience highly desirable.
  • Tactical Aircraft Flight Operations experience.
  • Demonstrate strong critical thinking in a fast pace environment.
  • Ability to problem solve.
  • Excellent Written and Verbal communication skills.
  • Leadership experience.
  • Ability to lead a team to meet critical schedules and resolve technical issues.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications with ability apply their intent.

  • Champion of Foreign Object Debris (FOD) control measures.
  • F-16 experience preferred.
