About The Position

Join the HII Mission Technologies team and play a key role in supporting the world‑class F‑35 program! We’re looking for a dynamic Configuration Analyst who thrives in a fast‑paced, mission‑focused environment and enjoys tackling complex aircraft systems challenges. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to collaborate on-site up to three days per week at Wright‑Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, OH, while contributing to critical acquisition and lifecycle activities that drive the success of DoD aviation programs.

Requirements

  • 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.
  • Minimum of the last 3 years in program management, technical analysis, or business analysis
  • Aircraft systems configuration management experience required
  • Demonstrated CM experience with development, ancillary equipment, ground support equipment, test & evaluation, and/or fleet operations of a DoD international acquisition aircraft program
  • Experience collecting and maintaining process metrics and reporting techniques
  • Proficiency in CM evaluation tools and reporting systems
  • Familiarity with DoD and international acquisition standards
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • This position will require Hybrid, on-site work up to 3 days per week at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, OH.
  • Minimum active SECRET security clearance

Responsibilities

  • Execute and oversee configuration management processes including:
  • Configuration identification, control, audits, and status reporting
  • Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) evaluations and approvals
  • Compliance with DoD CM policies, procedures, standards, and review cycles
  • Provide support across development, production, ground support equipment, ancillary systems, testing & evaluation, and fleet operations
  • Analyze and disposition Major Variance Requests, Specification Change Notices, Engineering Change Requests/Proposals, and related documentation
  • Ensure accurate processing of all Class I (Major) changes and variances
  • Track and report CM metrics in alignment with DoD-level Data Management Program policies
  • Guide stakeholders on CM best practices and change control strategies
