The Food and Beverage Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the restaurant, bar, and/or banquet services, ensuring guest satisfaction, maintaining service standards, and supporting the food and beverage team. This role assists in scheduling, training, inventory management, and enforcing company policies and procedures. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in hospitality or related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in food and beverage, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Proficiency in POS systems and basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
  • Lift and carry up to 25–50 pounds.
  • Work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations of the food and beverage outlets, ensuring efficient and high-quality service.
  • Train, coach, and support team members in service standards and company procedures.
  • Assist with scheduling and labor management to ensure appropriate staffing levels.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and respond to complaints or service issues promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Oversee cash handling and point-of-sale operations to ensure accuracy and accountability.
  • Support the implementation of promotions, events, and seasonal menus in coordination with culinary and marketing teams.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies and managing costs.
  • Participate in daily briefings and relay information to the team effectively.
  • Assist with onboarding and training of new hires.
