This position will perform duties to set up, change over and operate the complete range of equipment and machine tools in an assigned area to process materials into parts for the assembly of custom vehicles, working within the limits of standard or accepted practice.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent
• Blue print reading
• Understands basic math, including decimal, fraction and angle dimensions
• Tools and equipment used include but are not limited to: saws, drills/mills, brake press, manual punches, and measuring equipment (tape measures, calipers)

Responsibilities

• Works from shop orders, specifications, prints and instructions
• Receives and processes raw materials or in-process parts through any range of operations to suit product specifications
• Sets up, changes over and operates the complete range of equipment, machine tools
• Position processes material on designated cart system and moves to succeeding operations as required to facilitate production flow
• Performs visual and dimensional check of work to verify parts are to specification
• Performs or assists with any operations, as required or directed to maintain work flow or respond to production requirements
• Other duties as assigned
