About The Position

We are looking for a WELDER/FABRICATOR  to join our Topeka, KS plant.  As a Welder with Contech you will contribute to America’s essential infrastructure including drainage systems, pipe, bridges and structures, and stormwater management.

About the Role

Responsibilities:

Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and welding procedures to ensure accurate welding.
Uses template, pattern, scribe, etc. to mark and lay out material.
Aligns and assembles product for welding using crane, lever hoist ,chains, etc.
Uses cutting or plasma torch to burn to precision layout.
Adheres to safety protocols to create a secure work environment.

About You

We Require:

High School Diploma or GED.
Proficiency in welding techniques, including MIG, and Stick welding.
Technical training or welding experience strongly preferred.
Ability to work with precision instruments.
Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
Technical training or welding experience strongly preferred.
