Face Frame Builder
About The Position
Out of the Woods Custom Cabinets is looking for a Face Frame Builder to join our production team in Layton, Utah . This role is responsible for building the face frames for cabinets while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and craftsmanship. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced cabinet shop environment working with woodworking equipment, hand tools, and production machinery. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience using hand tools and power tools
- Ability to read and follow written and verbal work instructions in English
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, measurements, or work orders
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure and perform basic math calculations
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
Nice To Haves
- Experience operating woodworking or shop machinery
- Previous cabinet shop, woodworking, construction, or manufacturing experience
- Basic understanding of woodworking tools and shop practices
Responsibilities
- Build and assemble cabinet face frames according to specifications
- Set up and operate woodworking machines and shop equipment
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete cabinet components
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders
- Measure materials accurately using tape measures and basic math calculations
- Follow quality standards and safety procedures, including Safety Data Sheets and shop guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Report equipment issues or safety concerns to management immediately
- Assist the assembly team or warehouse during slower production periods
- Perform other duties as assigned to support shop operations
