About The Position

Full-Time Facilities Assistant First Baptist Rogers is a Southern Baptist Church in Northwest Arkansas. We conduct seven services every Sunday at three different campuses for over 2,500 people each week. Our mission is to make disciples of all the nations, and our process of discipleship is “come, connect, grow, serve, and go.” The full-time Buildings and Grounds Assistant will have the following qualifications and fulfill the following responsibilities:

Requirements

• Have essential physical and mental capabilities in the following: interpersonal skills, attention to detail, follow directions, comprehension of instruction, organization, and basic reading, writing, and speaking in English.
• Able to affirm and follow the Church's Code of Conduct.
• Willing to become an active member of FBC Rogers or other like-minded church.

Responsibilities

• Clean, dust, and wipe furniture
• Sweep, mop, and/or vacuum floors
• Empty/clean wastebaskets, and trash containers
• Clean restrooms, refill restroom dispensers
• Replace light bulbs, clean windows sills, clean interior windows
• Assist with setup of facilities to accommodate meetings, activities, and events
• Perform routine maintenance on all floors, including but not limited to strip, clean, buff, and apply floor sealer and floor finish to hard surface floors; vacuum and shampoo carpeted floors as directed
• Lock and unlock building as assigned, secure building per procedures, report any unauthorized occupants
• Attend staff meetings, staff prayer meetings, team celebrations, and other meetings/events as directed by Supervisor.
