About The Position

The Facilities Coordinator will play an important role in supporting a positive, safe, and well-maintained workplace experience. This position focuses on assisting employees and internal teams with facility needs, responding to service requests, and ensuring that day-to-day building operations run smoothly. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, communicating clearly, and contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Requirements

  • Strong customer-service mindset with clear and professional communication skills.
  • Organized, reliable, and able to follow instructions and established procedures.
  • Comfortable using basic hand tools and general maintenance equipment.
  • Experience working with computers and software applications.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of experience in a Facilities Coordinator or Service Coordinator role.
  • Manufacturing experience (preferred, but not required).
  • Customer service skills.
  • Organized and personable.

Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly, timely assistance to employees who submit facilities-related requests or need support in the workspace.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally when updating internal customers on task status or scheduling.
  • Build positive working relationships with colleagues, contractors, and team members across departments.
  • Perform routine facility tasks under close supervision to help maintain a clean, safe, and functional work environment.
  • Follow established processes and standard operating procedures to support consistent service delivery.
  • Complete work requests and preventative maintenance activities using the CMMS system.
  • Work closely with technicians and other trades to learn systems, equipment, and best practices within the facility.
  • Assist cross-functional teams on shared projects and operational needs.
  • Participate in training and development to build technical and customer-service skills.
  • Accurately document maintenance activities and service work according to SOPs or regulatory requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement by following established guidelines and adopting best practices.
