About The Position

As the technical leader for plant equipment and facilities, responsible for planning, maintaining, and upgrading production machinery, utilities (HVAC, compressed air), and infrastructure to ensure safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA). Requires expertise in lifecycle management, energy optimization, and bilingual (English/Mandarin) skills to support operational continuity and sustainability goals.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
5+ years in industrial facilities/equipment management; automotive experience preferred.
Proficient in AutoCAD, PLC basics, and CMMS; bilingual for global coordination;
Knowledge of LEED standards and ISO 50001 energy management.
Strategic thinker, adept at multi-project execution and emergency response.

Nice To Haves

PMP, CEM, OSHA 30-Hour preferred.
automotive experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Planning & Installation
Lead equipment selection, installation, and FAT/SAT for new production lines (stamping, painting).
Optimize facility layouts (logistics routes, utility pipelines) for capacity expansion.
Maintenance & Reliability
Develop preventive maintenance plans using RCM strategies and improve MTBF/MTTR metrics.
Energy & Utilities
Monitor energy consumption (water, electricity) and implement efficiency projects (compressed air leaks, LED retrofits).
Manage wastewater systems and HVAC operations per EPA regulations.
Compliance & Safety
Ensure OSHA compliance (machine guarding, emergency stops) and conduct arc flash risk assessments.
Projects & Innovation
Manage CAPEX projects (solar panel installation, AGV upgrades) within budget and timeline.
Drive digital transformation (IoT monitoring, BIM modeling) for smart facility management.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with production to resolve equipment downtime and coordinate contractor inspections (boilers, pressure vessels).
