This role is a great opportunity for high school students (16 years or older) and college students who want flexible hours, real-world experience, and a potential pathway into Facilities or Maintenance positions. The position is Per Diem / On-Call (Up to 8–10 hours per week but not guaranteed) and the pay is $17 per hour. You understand that even behind-the-scenes work plays an important role in creating excellent experiences for others. You are responsible, punctual, and open to developing new skills through hands-on work. What you'll do: Assist the Facilities team during special events, projects, and high-volume seasons. Provide labor support for room setups and teardowns, including moving tables, chairs, staging, and equipment. Help with custodial tasks such as trash removal, basic cleaning, and restocking supplies. Support seasonal and special projects such as deep cleaning, campus refreshes, organizing storage areas, and event preparation. When needed, assist the Maintenance team during larger projects by providing basic labor support under supervision. Load, unload, and transport supplies, furniture, and equipment across campus. Follow instructions from the Facilities Coordinator, Facilities Tech II, or Maintenance leadership while on assignment. Use tools and equipment safely as trained. Maintain a clean and organized work area during and after assignments. Follow all safety procedures, policies, and guidelines at all times. Represent the Facilities team with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Other tasks as needed.
