About The Position

HII’s Mission Technologies division is dedicated to delivering cutting-edge solutions that advance national security and defense objectives. This position is part of our Cyber and Intelligence division, which plays a critical role in supporting Enterprise-Level Security and Modernization efforts across IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, physical facilities, and personnel operations. The selected candidate will contribute to a high-impact government program focused on enhancing and securing mission-critical systems and environments. Due to the classified nature of the mission and the sensitivity of the operational environment, an active TS/SCI security clearance will be required.

Requirements

  • 6 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant progressive experience.
  • Clearance: TS/SCI full scope poly
  • May be required to visit job site in an industrial or shipboard environment.
  • Normally not required to lift more than 40 pounds higher than three feet above feet/floor level.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises skilled traders, general maintenance employees or outside contractors who construct, maintain, and repair utilities systems, buildings, and equipment.
  • Sets priorities and performs forecasting and allocates the resources needed to complete all preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
  • May be responsible for building, maintenance, and repair budget for some or all of the facility, depending on scope and span of control.
  • May be responsible for maintenance of high voltage systems, utility infrastructures, steam generators, and piping systems.
  • Provides support to production services by ensuring that maintaining equipment, power, and light services for all facilities.
