About The Position

Provides handyman/maintenance duties assigned to support the safe, efficient operation of bank facilities and equipment. Performs a wide range of repair, maintenance, installation, and preventive tasks across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of relevant experience preferred
  • Trade school or technical training preferred
  • Electrical, Plumbing and HVAC experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, mechanical & HVAC systems
  • Ability to read instructions, manuals, and work orders
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Good time management and organizational abilitie
  • Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor
  • Must possess the ability to utilize a personal computer
  • Must have experience with project management software and MS Office products.
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Superior communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to operate a keyboard if required performing the essential job functions.
  • Ability to travel is required to perform the essential job functions.
  • Ability to lift/move/carry up to 20 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of various types of bank equipment preferred

Responsibilities

  • Conducts routine inspections and performs preventative maintenance.
  • Responds to service requests, diagnose issues and determine appropriate solutions in a timely manner.
  • Installs and repairs fixtures, appliances, doors (installation & maintenance), windows, cabinets, hardware, drywall repair, carpentry/trim work, painting and all other tasks requiring general maintenance.
  • Locates, engages and oversees contractors, designers, furniture suppliers, architects, and engineers as well as other service providers for anything from minor repairs and renovations to major overhauls.
  • Manages project budgets to ensure timely completion.
  • Performs construction management duties as assigned from demolition to finished project.
  • Communicates clearly with clients and supervisors regarding work status and recommendations.
  • Maintains records of maintenance and repair projects, as well as invoices and other documentation.
  • Manages contracts as assigned.
  • Oversees vendor management as assigned.
  • Ensures that own work is in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, policies and guidelines.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
