About The Position

The Facilities Supervisor is accountable for operation and maintenance of the physical semiconductor manufacturing plant, equipment, and facilities service (Bulk Gases, DI Water, Industrial Waste Treatment, boilers, chillers, exhaust scrubbers, pumps, motors, HVAC systems and Project/Work Order support).

Requirements

  • High School diploma and min of 4 years’ experience in facilities maintenance.
  • Min 4 years of Supervisory exp in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong Communication and Influencing Skills: Confidence to speak up and lead challenging conversations among cross-functional teams. Ability to facilitate discussions, provide insights, and influence decisions, fostering alignment and collaboration in a diverse group setting.
  • Training and Facilitation Skills: Proven ability to train and guide team members at various skill levels, using clear communication and adaptable teaching methods. Capable of developing training materials, delivering presentations, and ensuring understanding and retention of key concepts.
  • Adaptability to New Software and Technology: Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and navigate new software programs and technology. A proactive approach to troubleshooting, seeking resources, and mastering unfamiliar tools is essential.

Nice To Haves

  • Journeyman status in relevant trade: IE: electrician, construction, general contractor.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and coordinate mechanics and operators’ activities to keep plant and manufacturing areas operating within specifications.
  • Plan and administer Preventative Maintenance Programs to ensure equipment operates in specification, efficiently and with minimum downtime to production areas.
  • Plan and schedule building upgrades, modifications, painting and repairs to plant.
  • Maintain the quality of Bulk Gases, DI Water and CDA to help increase product yields.
  • Responsible for holding regularly scheduled staff meetings. Maintain time records, ensure department schedules are in balance with production schedules, and administer technical training programs. Responsible for selecting new employees, conducting performance appraisals and disciplinary actions.
  • Inspect work for quality and effective completion of tasks.
