About The Position

The Facilities Maintenance Support Assistant supports with repairs, upkeep, and preventative maintenance of company buildings and grounds. This role focuses on assisting with maintenance tasks, helping move and place heavier items, and supporting the overall upkeep of our facilities. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys staying active, working with their hands, and being part of a team. Requirements

Must submit to a background check and drug test
Valid Florida driver’s license with a clean driving record
Must be at least 18 years of age
Basic maintenance or facilities experience preferred
Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical labor
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Willingness to learn and take direction
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

Assist with general building maintenance and repairs (external and internal)
Support maintenance projects and daily facility needs
Set up and take down tables, chairs, equipment, and signage for company meetings and events
Move, assemble, and install furniture and equipment
Identify and report maintenance issues
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Work closely with the maintenance team and follow priorities
