About The Position
Role Responsible for the general maintenance and orderliness of Beacon facilities and mechanical systems to ensure optimal operation and safety.
Requirements
- One to three years of experience in building trades (HVAC, plumbing, electrical or carpentry).
- A high school diploma or HSE.
- This employee should be able to provide his or her own basic tools needed to perform the job functions and have a valid driver's license.
- Travel to Beacon locations throughout Indiana will be regularly required as on-site maintenance, repairs, projects, and other position demands dictate.
Nice To Haves
- Technical school training in maintenance related courses is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Completes assigned work orders for maintenance and repairs to Beacon facilities and systems while adhering to all safety standards, policies & procedures, codes of conduct and best practices.
- Assists Facilities Manager in establishing, maintaining, and conducting inspections of all equipment and buildings.
- Assists with controlling expenses associated with the operation of the buildings.
- Performs other job related duties as assigned.
