As a Facilities Maintenance Specialist, you’ll play a key role in keeping our people, equipment, and infrastructure running smoothly.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience within the last 7 years in building system maintenance or facility operations.
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, web navigation).
  • Mechanical aptitude with basic electrical troubleshooting.
  • Ability to safely use electrical multimeters and follow electrical safe‑work practices.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain all facility areas to ensure they remain inspection‑ready.
  • Perform indoor/outdoor building inspections including grounds, parking lots, signage, sidewalks, and structures.
  • Conduct general building repairs: roofs, flooring, doors, walls, windows, ceiling tiles, lighting, furniture, and plumbing systems.
  • Execute painting projects throughout the facility including hallways, rooms, structural areas, and 5S zone markings.
  • Support snow removal, outdoor labor tasks, and seasonal grounds upkeep.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on rooftop units and non‑ammonia intake/exhaust systems.
  • Use CMMS (SAP) to complete, track, and close out work orders daily.
  • Coordinate and support contractors performing on‑site service work.
  • Use proper job permits, risk assessments, and inspections for all tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
  • Participate in job‑specific training (classroom and hands‑on).
  • Ensure all work follows safety, quality, and compliance standards.
