About The Position

The Facilities Maintenance position is critical to ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all building systems and infrastructure within our organization. This role involves performing routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and timely repairs to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural components of the facility. The successful candidate will contribute to creating a comfortable and secure environment for all employees, visitors, and tenants by addressing maintenance issues proactively and responding swiftly to emergencies. This position requires collaboration with various departments and external vendors to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards. Ultimately, the Facilities Maintenance professional plays a key role in preserving the value and functionality of the physical assets, supporting uninterrupted business operations across our United States locations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in facilities maintenance, building systems repair, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and safety regulations.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between sites as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical certification or vocational training in facilities maintenance, HVAC, electrical, or plumbing.
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Familiarity with energy management systems and sustainable building practices.
  • First aid and OSHA safety certification.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills demonstrated in a facilities environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
  • Diagnose and repair facility equipment and infrastructure issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain operational continuity.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and inventory of supplies and equipment.
  • Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs, upgrades, and inspections as needed.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests and troubleshoot problems to restore services quickly and safely.
  • Ensure all maintenance work complies with local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA and environmental standards.
  • Assist in facility improvement projects by providing technical expertise and hands-on support.
