About The Position

A maintenance position responsible for the facilities maintenance program including the preventive maintenance program, HVAC systems, maintenance inventory, facility and equipment repairs and grounds upkeep.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • HVAC System Repair & Operation
  • Inventory Management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Able to Follow Written and Verbal Direction
  • Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills
  • Able to Write and Edit Reports, SOP’s, and Documentation
  • Attention to Detail
  • Able to Work Independently
  • Able to Make Sound Decisions
  • Positive Attitude and Able to Work as Part of a Team
  • Minimum 4 years in a facilities or production maintenance role
  • Minimum 2 years working with HVAC systems
  • Ability to Stand for Extended Periods of Time
  • Ability to Lift 50lbs
  • Ability to Climb, Crouch, Crawl, etc. to Evaluate or Conduct Repairs

Nice To Haves

  • AA or bachelor’s degree (preferred)
  • HVAC Certification (a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Oversight of the facilities maintenance program including all equipment, building and grounds maintenance activities
  • Execute the preventive maintenance program and associated documentation
  • Complete work orders and required facility, equipment & grounds repairs
  • Maintain and monitor system HVAC systems
  • Maintain maintenance and parts inventory and equipment list
  • Order parts and maintenance supplies.
  • Operate and test systems and equipment and ensure required equipment calibrations are completed and documented
  • Partner with quality assurance to facilitate corrections and corrective actions when needed by analyzing data, investigating issues, identifying solutions, and recommending preventive measures
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal codes and regulations
  • Ensure security cameras are monitored, functional and emergency preparedness equipment is maintained properly
  • Ensure that the facility and grounds are clean and maintained according to company policy and procedures
  • Conduct or participate in regular facility inspections.
  • Drive efficiencies, continuous improvement, cost reduction and the meeting of company and department goals
  • Maintain food safety & quality standards through compliance with the Safe Quality Food Code and Log10 Food Safety & Quality Management programs
  • Create, review, or maintain facilities maintenance documentation (i.e. SOP’s, WKI’s, & forms)
  • Other Duties as Required
