About The Position

The Facilities Manager Assistant will assist with operations for Red Coats within their assigned Region. They may be responsible for a remote Region office and ensure efficient and effective management of such. The Regional Manager will report to the Regional Manager and will be responsible for operations, employee and customer relations and development and business retention and growth for the Regions assigned (Region) of responsibility. E/O/E/M/F/V/D

Requirements

  • MUST be Bilingual (Spanish & English)
  • Must be able to pass background check
  • Must have and maintain a valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record
  • 1 year of commercial floor care experience
  • Must be able to operate high and low speed buffer, and burnishing equipment.
  • Ability to train others
  • Customer service experience
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and details
  • High quality standards and strong leadership skills
  • People skills, strong communication skills, ability to take direction
  • Ability to function in fast-paced environment with ability to multi task

Responsibilities

  • Conduct physical inspections on an ongoing basis for all accounts in their region ensuring each account is visited as needed and report as needed
  • Maintain standards of appearance and performance of cleaning staff assigned to all client locations
  • Be aware of contract deliverables and work with supervisors to ensure compliance
  • Provide direct supervision to cold start accounts devoid of on-site supervision
  • Establish productive and consistent customer contacts and maintain records of contacts with customers, return all customer calls ASAP
  • Rapidly respond to and assist in addressing customer issues, ensure to document these issues and resolutions and review with the supervisor where applicable
  • Assist and support regional managers/account managers/site supervisors as needed
  • Ensure a safe working environment at each site and office
  • Perform carpet cleaning, scrubbing, stripping, sealing, waxing, and spray buffing had surface floors as needed
  • Train Floor Tech workers to operate and clean the equipment and attachment tools and ensure maintenance is performed as necessary
  • Operate and maintain all floor cleaning/finishing equipment to include but not limited to floor buffer/burnishes, water extraction machine, and carpet cleaning equipment
  • Follow established safety precautions for cleaning and maintaining all areas of the facility
  • Prepare activity and personnel reports
  • Inspect & examine the equipment & attachment tools to ensure quality
  • Ensure site contractual obligations, company policies and procedures are followed
  • Perform additional duties as required
  • Assist in control of labor, overtime, non-billed labor, vacation/time off, uniform, supply & equipment expense
  • Be proficient with timekeeping software in the management of job modifications and have a working knowledge of the job starts process
