About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Facilities Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of assigned community associations, ensuring exceptional service across maintenance, deed restrictions, client communication, and project coordination. This position is a 50% field-based role and 50% office-based role , supporting single-family communities across the Houston portfolio. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple projects simultaneously, and is highly responsive when working with Board members, managers, vendors, and homeowners.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service and relationship management skills with Boards, homeowners, and vendors.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines.
  • Strong responsiveness and follow-through across multiple projects and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and data management systems.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, Property Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 1 year of property management or facilities management experience.
  • Valid Driver’s License and reliable personal transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations and administration of community associations in accordance with management agreements and company policies.
  • Conduct regular field inspections of communities to identify maintenance needs, compliance issues, and deed restriction concerns.
  • Coordinate and support large-scale capital expenditure (CapEx) projects, including planning, vendor coordination, tracking timelines, and follow-up.
  • Supervise maintenance and projects, ensuring quality work and timely completion.
  • Review budgets, manage vendor payments, and provide recommendations related to capital improvements and operational expenses.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact with Association Boards and homeowners, maintaining professional and responsive communication.
  • Attend and present at Association meetings, including evening meetings as needed.
  • Prepare reports, correspondence, and documentation for Boards and internal stakeholders.
  • Analyze issues, resolve concerns, and provide weekly updates on community operations and ongoing projects.
  • Manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy, organization, and a high level of service.
