About The Position

The Facilities Operations Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day management of projects The candidate will be an important member of the team to ensure that the goals & deadlines of this area are achieved.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in the fitness industry or related role (1-2 years) preferred
  • Degree in field of study (Kinesiology, Health exercise science, etc.) preferred
  • Demonstrates excellent customer service skills
  • CPR/First Aid certification required
  • Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs. This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).

Responsibilities

  • Greets and provides customer service to fitness center guests
  • Performs administrative duties including answering phones, scheduling appointments, record maintenance, etc.
  • Ensures the fitness equipment is in accurate working order by cleaning and maintaining equipment, reports maintenance needs to management
  • Ensures staff are adhering to NCED/Aramark policies and procedures
  • Ensures guests are adhering to fitness center safety policies and procedures
  • Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
  • Upkeep Fitness Center by actively cleaning and maintaining weight room, pool, gymnasium, and hallways
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager
