About The Position

As a Facility Maintenance Engineer, you provide on‑site technical expertise that keeps the facility running safely, efficiently, and reliably. You’ll work closely with operations, maintenance, and support teams to identify issues, improve processes, and lead projects that strengthen the plant’s infrastructure and performance. This role is ideal if you enjoy solving problems, managing projects from concept to completion, and making meaningful improvements that support long‑term operational success. You’ll have the opportunity to influence major upgrades, implement new systems, and drive continuous improvement across the facility.

Requirements

  • Engineering degree or equivalent technical experience.
  • 1–6 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, collaborate, and motivate others.
  • Proficient with 2D/3D modeling software and project‑planning tools.
  • Able to travel occasionally (approximately 10% annually).
  • Able to move throughout a manufacturing environment, including standing, walking, and climbing as needed.
  • Able to lift moderate weights when required for project work.
  • Comfortable working around machinery, tools, and production equipment.
  • Able to wear required PPE and follow all safety procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Applies engineering principles to develop and implement capital projects that improve facility infrastructure, safety, and cost efficiency.
  • Provides technical support for equipment upgrades, facility improvements, and special projects.
  • Develops project plans, schedules, and cost estimates while tracking progress and deliverables.
  • Reports on project status, challenges, scope changes, and contingency plans.
  • Collaborates with production and maintenance teams to identify improvement opportunities and develop solutions.
  • Prioritizes projects and facility maintenance needs based on operational impact.
  • Works independently and within cross‑functional teams to achieve project goals.
  • Ensures compliance with all environmental, health, and safety requirements.
  • Supports additional engineering or facility projects as assigned.
