About The Position

The Facilities Lead is responsible for the maintenance of buildings, operation, repair, and specialized facilities services in order to ensure operation of the corporate facilities. This role will also supervise the facilities team.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of management experience
  • Proven experience in facilities maintenance
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent facilitation, collaboration, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

  • Provides maintenance of facilities to include plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and other mechanical repairs
  • Provides regular maintenance of equipment to ensures efficiency and effectiveness
  • Maintains the company grounds of facilities, including snow removal as needed
  • Purchases material, manages inventory, and works with vendors as needed for supplies
  • Schedules subcontractors as needed and provided hands-on assistance when required
  • Maintains ongoing relationships with Vendors and keeps track of lease/contract requirements and documents
  • Assess and resolve all high priority project risks as they are encountered
  • Follows all applicable OSHA workplace safety rules, policies, and procedures
  • Reports daily to management on building conditions and status of work in progress
  • Other duties as assigned
