About The Position

Maintains building and property, performing routine repairs, painting, and maintenance activities.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD) and one (1) to three (3) months related experience and/or training in property maintenance in hotels or apartment complexes; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs, reach, stoop and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
  • Must be willing to work in a smoking environment.
  • Must be willing to adhere to company health and safety measures.

Responsibilities

  • Promotes superior guest service.
  • Maintains, and perpetuates a positive organizational culture according to the principles of the Spirit of Tâlícn and the Core Values of ilani.
  • Replaces HVAC and smoke eater filters.
  • Notifies management concerning the need for any repairs.
  • Removes snow, ice, and debris from all facility entrances and walkways.
  • Maintains exterior grounds and parking lot.
  • Maintains floor cleanliness.
  • Communicates inventory supply status to management.
  • Performs daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks.
  • Reports on any observed security, environmental and health and safety related concerns and any equipment malfunctions.
  • Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Other duties as assigned.
