The Fire Alarm Technician performs skilled work in the maintenance, repair, and testing of fire alarm and fire protection systems to ensure safe, compliant, and reliable facility operations. This role independently evaluates system conditions, plans and executes repairs, and supports both short‑range and more complex projects requiring coordination with contractors and campus partners. The technician provides technical expertise in system functionality, communicates effectively with customers and supervisors, and ensures timely restoration of proper facility conditions. Strong judgment, problem‑solving skills, and the ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment are essential for success in this position.
