Facilities Technician - Commissary
About The Position
Dion’s is looking for a skilled and motivated Facilities Technician to join our team at our Commissary. This role is ideal for someone with experience in HVAC and/or refrigeration, who enjoys problem-solving, takes initiative, and thrives in both independent and team-based work environments. As a Facilities Technician, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of equipment that keeps our operation running smoothly. We’ll provide additional training in oven, small equipment, and refrigeration repair, and this position offers great opportunities for career growth. Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing blueprints, schematics, and ladder diagrams.
- Familiarity with CMMS systems for documenting maintenance tasks.
- Proficiency with manual and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and test instruments.
- HVAC or small refrigeration experience preferred.
- A valid NM driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen, and physical exam.

Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
- Install, maintain, and repair production equipment such as pumps, motors, cylinders, mixers, filling and packaging machines, and labelers.
- Ensure equipment meets manufacturer’s specifications by using manuals and technical instructions.
- Respond promptly to production requests to improve equipment uptime, reduce downtime, and maintain safe operations.
- Collaborate across teams to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.
- Assist with training on the safe operation and repair of production equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor electrical, carpentry, refrigeration, mechanical, and plumbing issues.
