About The Position

Muir Wood Teen Treatment is a leading provider of residential and outpatient behavioral healthcare for teens ages 12–17. With programs in Sonoma County, Clovis, and Riverside, we specialize in treating primary mental health and co-occurring substance use disorders. Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in facilities maintenance, general trades, or a related hands-on role
  • Working knowledge of basic building systems: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry
  • Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple work orders
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a residential / group home environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in healthcare, residential treatment, or behavioral health facilities
  • Familiarity with work order systems or facilities management software
  • Trade certifications or vocational training (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or similar)

Responsibilities

  • Perform general maintenance and repairs on buildings, grounds, and facility equipment across residential campuses
  • Conduct routine inspections to proactively identify safety hazards, maintenance needs, and potential issues before they escalate
  • Respond promptly to facility-related emergencies and ensure issues are resolved with minimal disruption to program operations
  • Monitor and maintain the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas — including common spaces, outdoor recreation areas, and parking lots
  • Manage and replenish facility supply inventories including light bulbs, basic tools, and general maintenance supplies; coordinate with Housekeeping Coordinator on shared supply needs
  • Assist with key control and access management across campus locations
  • Collaborate with the Director of Operations on project prioritization, status updates, and facility improvement planning
  • Perform additional duties as assigned within the scope of this role
