Essential Functions Statement(s) Supervises the Maintenance Team and oversees the facility. Vendor & Contract Management. Assigns work and projects to Maintenance Team. Ensures that the work performed by the Maintenance Team is accurate and effective. Performs highly diversified duties to install, repair and maintain production equipment, vehicles and machines and the plant facility’s fixtures and equipment. Responds to trouble-calls on all types of equipment and vehicles and applies a high level of cause/effect analysis for breakdown troubleshooting. Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of equipment, vehicles and machines. Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Diagnoses problems, replaces or repairs parts, tests and makes adjustments. Performs diagnostic and root cause analysis for all unscheduled breakdown events to prevent reoccurrence. Performs regular preventive maintenance on machines, vehicles, equipment and plant facilities. Performs a variety of plumbing and electrical maintenance and carpentry functions. Uses a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties. Detects faulty operations, defective material and reports those and any unusual situations to proper supervision. Reliable attendance and scheduling. Maintaining an accurate inventory of equipment, tools, and supplies. Complies with safety regulations and maintains clean and orderly work areas. Performs all other duties as assigned or needed.
