About The Position

MTI Distributing, Inc., a subsidiary of The Toro Company, is the Upper Midwest’s leading supplier of products and services to the green industries. Through a combination of exceptional products and superior service, MTI is in the business of providing landscape beautification solutions to golf courses, schools, municipalities, landscape contractors, and independent dealers. We currently have an opening for a Facility Support Associate. This position is responsible for a range of tasks related to the daily operations of our Berkeley, Missouri location. This individual will perform service and support tasks, such as maintenance, logistics, shipping & receiving, housekeeping, and inventory control. This is a temporary position for a duration of 2 – 3 months, with a possibility of the position becoming permanent. Hours are full-time, Monday - Friday, 1st shift.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous warehouse/receiving experience required.
  • Basic computer knowledge required.
  • Must have basic math and counting skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage workload.
  • MTI product knowledge is helpful.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs. with or without assistance.
  • Forklift certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and understand MTI’s operating system.
  • Monitor and prioritize orders in the picking queues.
  • Pick, pack and ship orders safely and accurately.
  • Process receiving and return merchandise safely and accurately.
  • Fill out bill of ladings for inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Notify manager of inventory discrepancies.
  • Bin locate product and maintain changes using MTI’s operating system.
  • Load and unload trucks.
  • Perform cycle counts.
  • Assure warehouse and work area is neat, clean, and well organized
  • Perform other duties as requested and assigned.
  • Uncrate and stage product by order.
  • Wash equipment for service, pre-owned and new.
  • Pull parts for service orders and place in appropriate area.
  • Dispose of packing materials.
  • Maintain cleanliness of outside storage area for equipment.
  • Perform other duties as requested and assigned.
