Facility Technician Assistant (Maintenance)
About The Position
Join the Simos team as a Facility Technician earning $18.50/hour. In this seasonal role, you will perform general labor and facility maintenance tasks, including lifting and moving materials, loading and unloading, maintaining a clean workspace, and organizing inventory. Candidates should have experience in mechanical, electrical, or general maintenance, be comfortable with physical work, and work well independently and with a team. This position is 40 hours per week, 6am- 2pm, on a Wednesday-Sunday schedule (weekends required, some weekdays (flexibility). Assignment runs through mid-March with an Immediate start. Resume required. 1 year maintenance department experience

- All Facility Tech 1.2 qualifications
- Trained and licensed on Reach and Order Picker Forklift.
- Qualified and experienced completing facility and listed production equipment PMs
- Qualified and experienced completing facility work order repairs.
- Experienced at completing Facility Projects independently.
- Trained and experienced completing at least 2 rotations of mobile equipment battery watering.
- Trained, certified and experienced completing Haz-Mat
- 1 year maintenance department experience
- Ability to lift parts weighing up to 50 lbs. without powered equipment assistance
- Visual capacity to clearly recognize, read, and understand standard operating procedures, signs, part number labels, and instructions
- Ability to see/hear and distinguish sounds and signs that alert, instruct, or notify one of danger, such as warning signs, horns, alarms, speech, and vehicular/pedestrian traffic
- Ability to coordinate maneuvering of varied bilateral hand and foot controls at a rapid pace
- Ability to utilize personal protective equipment, which may include gloves, safety harnesses, and safety shoes
- Flexibility to work in either a hot or cold work environment
- HS Diploma or GED
- Background Check
- Able to Lift 50 pounds

- Must be at least 18 years old
