About The Position

The Facility Worker performs all general facility maintenance under minimum supervision in a manner which ensures the preservation of optimum quality and efficient production. Perform service requests and repairs as directed. Perform maintenance work for make-ready units as directed. Clean and inspect in building systems and report deficiencies to supervisor. Adhere to the company’s safety programs.

Requirements

• High school graduate.
• Fully bilingual (English and Spanish).
• At least 2 years in role or similar role in a hotel, strongly preferred.
• Ability to complete work orders. Ability to take direction and complete tasks.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize assignments.
• Basic PC skills preferred.
• Able to work with small hand tools and some electric tools.
• Able to work in hot and cold environment, including inside and outside of a building.
• Able to lift and move heavy objects.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays and nights.
• Must possess a valid Health Certificate and Good Conduct Certificate.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, move heavy objects, etc during entire shift.

Nice To Haves

• Trade school or college degree or course, strongly preferred.
• At least 2 years in role or similar role in a hotel, strongly preferred.
