About The Position

Quality Enclosures is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Glass Factory Worker & Forklift Operator to join our Ronkonkoma production team.

This hybrid role supports glass manufacturing operations and operates a forklift as needed. The position involves handling, cutting, staging, and preparing glass panels for custom shower enclosure production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Forklift certification
• Ability to lift up to 140 lbs
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness

Nice To Haves

• Manufacturing or factory experience
• Experience operating production machinery
• Material handling experience

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklift to transport glass racks and materials
• Perform daily forklift inspections
• Measure, cut, and prepare glass panels according to work orders
• Operate glass-processing equipment (cutting tables, polishers, washers)
• Inspect glass for chips, scratches, and quality standards
• Stage and label finished glass for assembly or shipment
• Maintain organized and safe work area (5S standards)
• Follow all safety and PPE requirements
• Support production team as needed
