About the Role JusticeWorks YouthCare is seeking a dedicated Family Case Manager to work directly with families involved in child welfare and juvenile justice systems. This is a community-based, hands-on role requiring strong assessment skills, sound professional judgment, and accurate documentation. You will help families set goals, connect to critical resources, and build sustainable change.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Sociology, Criminal Justice, or related field
- Experience in child welfare, case management, or family-based services strongly preferred
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance
- Ability to pass required background clearances and drug screening
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-home visits and comprehensive family assessments
- Develop and monitor individualized service plans
- Provide crisis intervention and solution-focused support
- Coordinate with courts, schools, and community providers
- Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with program standards
- Transport clients as needed
